Withdrawal notice

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Amsterdam Heritage B.V., Molenmakershoek 64 Unit 5, 7328 JK Apeldoorn, Netherlands, telephone: +31 20 532 1585, email: info@amsterdamheritage.nl) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory. You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://amsterdamheritage.eu/pages/withdraw (link "Withdraw from contract here" at the bottom of every page). If you use this online feature, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by email), including its content and the date and time of its submission, without undue delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us (Amsterdam Heritage B.V., Molenmakershoek 64-B, 7328 JK Apeldoorn, Netherlands), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Note (not part of the notice): if you use our prepaid return label, we deduct €5.00 from your refund for it. You can also send the goods back yourself at your own cost.

Our 30-day return and exchange service

This service comes on top of your legal right of withdrawal. It doesn't limit it.

Our belts are handmade from premium leather, so no two are exactly alike. Small natural variations are part of that and aren't defects. If you're not completely happy with your order, you can return or exchange it within 30 days of receiving it. For pre-orders and made-to-order items, the 30 days also start on the day you receive them.

How to send something back

The quickest way is our return portal. Enter your order number and postcode, choose the items and print your label. The portal gives you a return number (RMA). Please put it in the parcel so we can match it fast. Giving a reason is optional.

You don't have to use the portal. You can also email us at info@amsterdamheritage.nl, use the model withdrawal form, or withdraw online with Withdraw from contract here. We never refuse a parcel because it has no return number.

1) With our prepaid label. Print it in the portal, or ask us for one by email. We deduct €5.00 from your refund for the label.

2) With any carrier. Send the parcel yourself, at your own cost, to:

Please add your return number, order number or packing slip. We recommend a tracked service, so you can show you sent it.

Refund

• We refund the items you send back to the payment method you paid with.
• If you return your whole order, we also refund the standard shipping you paid.
• You can return single items. You don't need to send the whole order back.
• We process returns within 2-5 business days of receiving them, and always within 14 days of hearing that you want to withdraw. We may wait until the items are back with us, or until you've shown that you sent them.

Exchange

Want a different size, colour or style? Choose exchange in the portal or add a note to your parcel. Exchanges are free.

Store credit

Would you rather have store credit than your money back? Just tell us. Exchanging for store credit is free. We only give store credit if you ask for it.

Condition of the items

Please send items back unworn, with the tags on and in the original packaging. During the 14-day withdrawal period you can try items on, just like in a shop. We only deduct for loss of value if an item was handled more than needed to check it. If you tell us after day 14 (day 15 to 30) or ask for an exchange, items need to be unworn and have their tags. This condition never applies to your legal right of withdrawal: if you tell us within 14 days, you then have 14 more days to send the items back, and the rules above apply.

An item you got through an exchange can't be exchanged again. This doesn't affect your legal right of withdrawal on your original purchase.

Good to know

• We accept returns and exchanges for orders from our own websites only.
• Faulty item? You have the legal guarantee (at least 2 years in the EU), separate from this service. Email us at info@amsterdamheritage.nl and we'll sort it out.
